Hi, I'm Katie!

I am a  passionate portrait photographer located in Middle Tennessee. I specialize in modern portrait photography and create an amazing, fun, and custom-session experience for my clients. During sessions, I like to let loose and have fun! Let's listen to your favorite playlist, laugh, talk about what makes you happy, and create some beautiful images while we are having fun.  

 

 

I have a passion for capturing perfect moments that reflect people beautifully. I am always excited to be behind my camera interacting with clients, both new and returning. I love to connect with others, create friendships, and capture moments that are once in a lifetime. I strive to deliver the best images that I can to my clients. My hope (and goal) is to produce images that can be appreciated and loved for a lifetime and beyond.

 

 

I believe that photographs are an invaluable treasure. Photography allows me to capture moments that can’t be recreated or regained. The value comes with the memories and the feelings associated with each image. Each time your images are displayed, shared, or reflected on they are being valued. And that is a beautiful thing!

 

Aside from being a photographer, I am a mom/bonus mom to five incredible kids and am married to my best friend and biggest supporter, Paul. Before pursuing photography full-time, my work history was mainly in healthcare working as a CNA, and in childcare working as a teacher's assistant for children ages 1-12, both taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the importance of human connection. I love new adventures, sunsets, hot chocolate, and exploring new opportunities. I believe in making the most out of any situation and looking for the good in things. And I believe there are no limitations that passion and drive can't overcome.
